Last hang out with the Hartzell's.  We met at Tai Po Waterfront park and had a great visit!!
What a lovely group of ladies and our kids are pretty good too:-)
The kids liked that Rachel and I rented a bike.  They all wanted to help push it around the park:-)
I will miss you Darsie!!
Stopping for a popsicle break on our bike ride from Tai Po to Sha Tin:-)
A beautiful day and a bike ride make a great combination.
Sewing with the Crowhurst's:-)
India read Rachel and Tobias a story!
Basketball game against CIS and we won!  We are in the playoffs...yay!
How good would it be to make the finals for Kylie's last year of coaching?
We bought some new toys for Sparkle and the boxes were the best part:-)
Abigail and Rachel lived in the boxes all morning!!
Having a beach day in Discovery Bay with friends:-)
It was such a beautiful day that I was sweating in a t-shirt!! Doesn't feel like Chinese New Year at all!!
Playing in the water!

This has been a bittersweet week for us!  We had a super time visiting and playing but I had to say to goodbye to a great friend whom I will miss very much! I guess that will be part of our life living here in Hong Kong as this year alone 3-5 of our good friends will be moving away!!
However Kylie, Rachel and I continue to count our blessings for God's provision.  We all love the city where we live, we have great friends and have more than we could ever imagine.
Happy Chinese New Year and all the best in 2014!
Kung Hei Fat Choi!

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing and perfect will.

We spent the afternoon with Darsie and Jeremy and some friends.
We spent some time praying for them as they move on to a new chapter in their lives.

This has been a crazy week for us BUT we made it and are still in one piece:-)
Kylie had SED and it was a lot of fun.  Rachel and I helped him with the singing and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had report cards due on Friday.  I stayed up until 2 am a few times and I just can't handle it like I used to:-) We also had to say good bye to a good friend of mine this week. Please pray for the family as they leave HK this coming week.  Kylie's basketball team played Canadian and won.  We are hoping that this is a turning point for the season.  Their next game is on Thursday!

One thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
