Last week of school!

Making toilet paper snowmen in class:-)
Campbell came into the classroom to show some musical instruments he plays.  He is a fantastic musician!!
 Christmas party!
Field Trip to the Harbin Ice Festival in Yuen Long.
I was in charge of cooking the food this year for our staff party.  I asked a few friends to help carve the turkeys among other things.  I was in charge of feeding about 120 people...it was a big job!!
 Decorating our annual gingerbread house:-)
Letters to Jesus from some of my students.  I didn't even help with spelling...they did great!

 The Prep Christmas performance.
Rachel's class sang Mary Did you Know?
I taught my students how to play Jingle Bells on the recorder for Christmas:-)
I had a few preps during Rachel's Christmas party and was able to spend most of the morning with Rachel.

Rachel and her good friend India making Christmas crafts!
My class made stained glass windows as a craft this year.
Some of the food I had to buy to cook at the staff party.
We bought 5 hams and 6 turkeys.  Kylie and I cooked the hams at our house the night before:-)
Thankfully Dave picked us up from our house on Friday morning. It would have been a nightmare to find and load everything into a taxi.
 Peeling 50 lbs of potatoes!!
Having a much needed holiday nap:-)
The sunset from our balcony last night!
The kids helped lead worship on Sunday morning...can you spot Rachel?

Happy Holidays!!

This has been a big week and we are very thankful to have holidays!! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

First week of December:-)

Measuring, Mixing and Baking our own cookies in class:-)
Decorating our yummy cookies!!
My parent helper...she is amazing!
After school play friends:-)
On Saturday, I took grad pictures for some great friends.  We had a great time:-)
I like this picture!  I was pretty happy...considering I don't really know how to pose or take professional pictures.  It helps to have such a great model!!
Rachel came and had a really fun time with Emory:-)
These girls are pretty crazy!

Donna and I went out this week for a shopping spree:-) It was a much needed girl hang out time.  I really do have great friends!
Guitar club at school:-)
Putting some finishing touches on our tree.  We bought some really cool icicle decorations.
I started teaching Rachel how to use the kitchen appliances properly.  Here she made her first recipe all by herself. (with me by her side of course) She turned on the burner, boiled the water, put in all the ingredients and served Kylie and I. She made macaroni and cheese:-)
Rachel won an award at school this week......Outstanding Effort and Responsibility!! Unfortunately neither Kylie or I got to see her receive the award on stage but we are super proud of her!

This has been a fun but tiring week.  There are a lot of things going on at school at the moment!!  Kylie and Rachel weren't feeling the best this week either which made it seem long.
Thankfully only 2 weeks before holidays!!
Love,
Kylie, Jocelyn and Rachel
